Accessibility
Jop Scholar is a website. Students and lecturers use it in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
Last updated 11 October 2026.
What you can expect
Pages are built in HTML, with labels on form fields, visible text for actions, and a layout that fits a narrow screen. The public site and the sign-in pages can be used with a keyboard. Where motion is used, the interface follows the reduced-motion setting on your device.
The workspace
- Lecturer and student navigation can be opened from the keyboard and from the menu button on a small screen.
- Assessment papers use text and, where a question includes an equation, the equation is rendered in the page.
- Colour is not the only way a selected answer or an error is shown. Errors are also written beside the field.
Limits
We have not commissioned a formal WCAG audit, and we do not claim a conformance level. Some older uploaded files, such as a scanned PDF, may not be readable by a screen reader because the file itself has no text. A lecturer can replace that file with a text version.
Tell us about a barrier
If a page, a test, or a file blocks you, write to us and name the page and the assistive tool you use. The address is info@jopscholar.com. We will reply with a practical alternative where we can provide one.
